Salary: $90,000-$120,000 DOE per year (plus incentives)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing water and wastewater infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including planning, design,
  • construction, and commissioning.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure adherence to these throughout the
  • project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and track all project components, with an emphasis on adhering to cost and established
  • timelines.
  • Assist project teams in preparing RFP’s for large infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, vendors,
  • contractors, and plant general managers.
  • Review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies, collaborating with internal Risk Management Team.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation to management team and stakeholders.
  • Assist Regulatory Team in preparing materials for rate cases as needed.

  • Efficient project execution of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Can develop construction cost estimates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, especially with Excel and Teams (or other project management software) and able to develop design and construction schedules.
  • Implements company goals, management team expectations, project budgeting, proposal writing, and invoicing.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate degree preferred. Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in utility construction
projects is required. Ideal candidate will have specific experience in water/wastewater infrastructure
projects.
